As a residential hospital for the Butterfly Foundation, Wandi Nerida cares for those with eating disorders. While their website is rich with information, the marketing team needed a foundational hero video on their website, emoting their story and the life changing work they do. After careful consideration of the complexities of the shoot, our team filmed on site for 2 days, capturing interviews with staff and graduating participants.
As this is a healthcare facility, filming in a setting like this was challenging. Balancing the safety of the participants living onsite against needing to capture content and tell the story properly. Our teams came together to solve logistical issues and we captured excellent interviews and b-roll.
While a website with words and pictures can communicate the factual aspects of a story, video is gold star when it comes to creating an emotional connection with the audience. This story gives hope to those who are affected by this cruel disease.
